Just sharing something that really works.. heh!
Not an advertorial since I'm not paid to do so, I've shared some hair tips on
What's the use of having great style, nice clothes, but dry and ugly hair? HAHA seriously.
Just some before and after pictures, these were taken in Feb. (And I haven't done anything to my hair since cus I'm a big time procrastinator. :S)
These are the only pictures I have of my hair. haha!

Don't know if you could tell.. But my hair is damn lifeless and rather stiff.
However my hair ends are still as good as the hair from the root! :D
Then just 4 days ago, I went grocery shopping and I saw the Asience booth right next to the cashier.
I didn't really read the recommendations and shit, so I just grabbed it and paid for it cus I ran out of hair serum(used before drying my hair if you refer to the hair tips page).
Asience is really damn good, imho, asians should always use things that are meant for asians since it's made to suit us.

*insert miracle rays from behind*
pict credits sasa.com
On the day that I first used it, I didn't expect to see any changes since I never really liked hair sprays.
Just bought it for the sake of having something to protect my hair. HAHA!
AND SURPRISINGLY, I was really surprised that my hair was DAMN soft and manageable (the most important wow factor)

A really bad face picture, but a really nice picture of my hair. hahahaha
Might not be able to tell from the pictures though, but you can take it from me, my hair is damn soft and manageable after using it.
So, thank the Lord! HAHAHAHA..
It's too good not to be shared.. So, yes. Hope this is allowed. (:

And if you wna keep your hair long, all the more you should protect it if not the hair texture would differ from the roots and the ends. heh
and then eventually your ends would always be tangled up (which leads to hair loss) due to dryness.
so, yeah. okay am I scaring you? hahaha hope not.

know of any brands of facial product that is very effective on acne/pimple prone skin? argh.. i am having this problem for a very long time and it is still botehring me!
anyone of you out there!
April 8 2007, 05:49:58 UTC 5 years ago
Try to use products that doesn't contain alcohol.
And actually what product doesn't really matter if it works a bit for you cept that you keep breaking out.
Have you been exfoliating? If you haven't, that might be the reason why you're breaking out.
If you put on makeup, you HAVE to exfoliate your face at least once every week. (Err, I recommend Body shop's exfoliator from the Vitamin C range, it's damn good (:) I also use the daily exfoliator from body shop's vit C section as my facial cleanser. It has received a lot of raves bout it.
Then go for facial once monthly.
Moisturising is really important, though most girls think it isn't so they normally skip this(I was one of them) haha! cus y'see.. If you stay/sleep in air conditioned places for too long, your skin would produce more sebum cus it's really drying (the environment).
And if you produce more sebum, more dust and whatnot would be trapped. Therefore, you breakout.
You can try putting on CLAY MASKS (I use clinique's one, which is damn good too) but don't put it too often if not you'd be stressing your skin. Clay masks are good antioxidants I think, and it'd help to tighten your pores as well as 'suck' impurities out. (: so youd breakout less.
You gotta know what you put on your face damn well also. Cus personally, my skin care regime is 8 bottles everyday, everynight. And if I didn't know the balance (like, too drying or too oily for my skin), my skin wouldn't be able to take it and I'd breakout more than usual.
If your pores are crazy huge, you can use kiss me's Magical Pore care. (you can find it at heeren I think?) the result is really amazing, so I have shared it on my blog as well. haha!
Not sure if this is of any help cus I feel like I'm deviating. :/ K uhm, hope this helps!! haha!

oh yes this is slightly irrelevant but im hoping that you and your knowledge on beauty products will be able to help me out (:
the thing is, i have relaxed, long hair that puffs slightly at the back everytime i let it down! do you have any hair products to recommend to flatten it slightly?
oh and it sticks out sometimes at the end! ):
haha hope you'd be able to help (: thanks loads in advance!
April 8 2007, 18:49:05 UTC 5 years ago
I don't recommend steam plates or whatever-you-call-it thing to flatten your hair, so.. Don't buy it if you're tempted.
As for the sticking out thing, you should comb your hair everyday and you can use the spray cus that's a sign of unmanageable hair.
After washing, just spritz the spray on your hair then blow dry it with a comb like what the people do at Saloons to make your hair straighter at the ends. (:
Hope that helps!

ahem. anyway.
the second pic doesn't look as good as the first pic, but but buttt..your 3rd pic owns the first!
you're pertty too! aaaah. jealous jealous.
the thing can put on scalp? or is it like conditioner, cannot put on scalp, if not hairloss? cuz now i'm having hair loss. XD
April 8 2007, 18:53:46 UTC 5 years ago
It's quite light, so even if you have a little on your scalp nothing would happen.
BUT, Why would you wna spritz it on your scalp?! ?_? LOL!
Mmm... For hair loss, DON'T scratch your head.
DON'T tie your hair whenever possible, if you have to, don't tie too tight and DON'T use red rubber band (the one you see at hawker centres).
Cut your split ends if you have them, and always comb your hair (follow the hair tips page on how to comb). Cus it'd prevent hair loss too.
Eat more sesame and seaweed.
And when you shampoo your hair, rub your scalp gently with your finger tips NOT nails.
okay! hope this helps! (:
I used to have hair loss problems too. heh

and i dig Asience totally..
even my bro(who has damaged hair due to hair dyes) who used my shampoo secretly told me that he love this!
saw the new products last weekend shall get it soon!!
anyway, i dont think it weighs my curls down.. in fact, it keep my hair from being dry.. =)

and is it possible to use a straightening iron after using the spray? or will my hair like go crazy after that? oh oh and can you recommend me some facial products for oily/combination skin? my face will turn into an oil rig soon. thanks so much (:
April 8 2007, 19:02:22 UTC 5 years ago
If your hair is dry, don't even think bout the iron.
If you have split ends, don't even think bout it too.
(haha sorry I don't like to do anything to my hair so I have sth against the iron. :/)
but anw, don't use it everyday if that's what you mean. If not it's okay to use it after using the spray I guess since it's supposed to protect your hair from excessive heating. (:
ah, that's tricky!
If your face is super oily, you might wna use the clay mask. It helps to suck impurities, oil control, and tighten pores.
Er, I don't actually know much bout what products though.. I only know what's important for the everyday regime. haha!
You should have the body shop vitc weekly exfoliator(if you can, get the daily one too?) cus oily skin usually have clogged pores.
oh, and try not to use blotter papers. tends to overwork your oil glands.
And it's the usual, drink more water, stay away from heaty food, and have beauty sleep (11pm-3am, which I didn't follow today AHAHAH irony)
